Principle 6: Learning, Development & Mentoring

Staff will be encouraged to realise their full potential in their role(s) and to continue their personal and professional development.  The School actively supports learning and development that offers staff the opportunity to enhance relevant skills and knowledge, thus enhancing their contribution to the School’s activities and their own professional satisfaction and prospects, including using their experience to help and mentor others.

An induction when joining the School or taking on a new role 
The School to promote learning and development opportunities and to provide information on learning and development opportunities relevant to the School’s needs
To have a mutually agreed personal development plan to take into account career plans and aims, and to address any areas for improvement
